Then you will be transported to Kom Ombo where you will visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, which dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and you can still view the remains of an ancient mummified crocodile, which was worshipped here thousands of years ago. It was built on the honour of two deities the crocodile-headed Sobek, god of fertility and creator of the world, and Haroeris or the ancient falcon-headed Horus. The temple built on a high dune overlooking the Nile. The temple was built in the early second century by Ptolemy VI Philometor.
